For the reason of Jesus' admonition I refuse to celebrate the fathers day as common in society...I tell my children the reason...that is, I give the ref. to what Jesus said.(I see myself as earthly
caretaker...but I think this might be also TF's
way of looking at things...)

However, we should bear also in mind the thought, that followers of God & Christ etc. are addressed by the Word of God as gods (distinct captitalisation):

KJV Psalm 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

KJV John 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

It's one thing to realise that, another to let yourself be worshipped.
But I intend to make a difference here:
How many times did we find at the end of GNs the
admonition of Berg, don't thank me, thank the Lord.
I believe, that TF itself, we adults were guilty, if we didn't discern that enough, all this raving about him...I visited the kings household & blah, blah...
I mean the line of command was even illustrated in one of the early letters about the Spirit world...

high up God, then Jesus, then some Angel, Abrahim, whatever, then Berg, then TF etc. etc.
Didn't we believe that hierarchy??

Critics of the catholic church say, that they have
quite an unhealthy hierarchy themselves, a similar problem with the pope as the representative of Christ on earth etc.
Similar problems you have with "very charismatic"
leaders as B.Hinn, R.Bonnke etc.

So it's not just a TF-problem.I must say, we made it possible for such worship...instead we should have tossed the GNs in the garbage, because Berg had such a history of unfulfilled prophecies, therefor is/was a false prophet, by yardstick of the OT...why didn't the supposed leaders (elders)
of TF see that?...I think we all liked the cozy
antisystem fellowship among ourselves & glossed the problems over, instead of using the Bible as
Bureau of standard. To have left earlier could have also meant, to have understood TF's errors...
