I work teaching English as a foreign language, I have a 4-6 yr group, a 6-8 yr group, 11 yr olds, teens, and then adult groups where the age ranges from 18 to 70. The language school where I work is quite happy to offer me courses of every shape and color, I take them too as the variety makes my job exciting, and so far successful. I've got enough savoir-faire, but where I'm lacking is in savoir, knowledge.

At an English teachers convention last year one of the speakers brought up the subject of MI and Gardner, he prefaced it with, "Of course you know the 8 intelligences of Gardner" or something like that, but there I was of course not knowing what he was talking, having spent my life in the cult, not having studied the way others have, except for getting my CELTA certificate a couple of years ago so that I could get a decent job teaching English. I just don't have much background in many fields of study that would acquaint with MI.

I believe it would be beneficial to my work to become at least somewhat familiar with Gardner, do you have any suggestions? Preferably something not too exhaustive. I can get a whole lot just off the net, maybe that's sufficient.
