I don't agree with the author's simplistic explanations of verses and issues, but it is worth discussing.
For e.g. the author says that Aramaic, Hebrew and Greek are such rich languages that so much is lost in translation as to make the translations almost useless. This is incorrect, IMO, as those of us who speak several languages from traveling the world know. For the most part, translations can quite accurately capture meanings.
As for quoting two verses to show that Jesus contradicted himself (him saying, "Don't call your brother a fool" then saying to the Pharisees, "Thou fool!") this argument seems to work on a superficial level, but things have to be understood in context, as the example from Proverbs shows: first it says, "Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest you be like him," then says in the next verse, "Answer a fool according to his folly lest he be wise in his own conceits." Obviously context is important.
