Hi KG. I'm glad you posted what you posted here. I pretty much stick to this board, I don't have that much time to surf other boards, except to have a look at Movingon from time to time.
I've always really liked reading you because too often I get into beating myself up, but when I read your take on the powers of control that the cult exercised, it always makes sense to me. You qualify your view with the fact that there are many factors involved, our own stages before and after, the way the cult evolved, your personal experience, our common experiences, etc. It's so multi faceted not to speak of the beauty of the divers ways we cope as individuals in the post Family journey. That means overall this thread is really useful for me, including Anna and With Held's post too.
Anyway I hope you'll continue to come back here from time to time.
