Thanks for the info Perry. I too believe in the mind-body connection. My son taught me this very early on when he was still really little. He had a severe tummy ache one night that we had to rush him to the hospital. After a full examination and x-rays, the doctors said there was nothing physically wrong with him and asked if he was undergoing stress at home or in school. That night my husband and I were arguing quite viciously and my poor boy must have heard us. Soon as we realized this we apologized to him and reassured him that we loved each other very much and that we should not have been arguing that way. His tummy ache promptly disappeared. He's had psychosomatic illnesses since then as a way for his mind to process stress through his body, internalizing it through physical ailments. Thankfully, we've been able to address them immediately so they don't actually develop into something major like cancer or whatever. He has helped me be more sensitive to my body too. Stress is a real killer!
