You're welcome, Jewlz. And regarding your post on GenX, don't think you're alone here. I relate a lot to the views you and Susie share here, and I suspect there are others too.

In your post that I'm referring too, there seemed to be a tone of self-denigration when you compared yourself to others. I've beaten myself up like that too. A lot of that, imo, comes from TF's doctrinal practice of taking to the extreme Jesus' commandment to his followers to deny themselves. It was bad enough to deny and abandon our families and loved ones, but to deny our own minds and bodies was not a healthy approach to life.

You mentioned in some posts that you are a dance teacher. Imo, that is a very valuable thing to do. I do not know how to dance formally, I free style to rhythm and blues, funk, reggae, jazz, etc, kind of like how Elaine on Seinfeld dances. :-)

Over the years, the times I've managed to overcome my self-consciousness and get up on the dance floor, have been some of the most liberating, psychicly healing moments I've had. In fact, several years ago while contemplating this very thing, the words "dance while you can" came to me. I've used that ever since as a metaphor for how to live my life. I'm not always successful at it, but it is a constant reminder to me, made even more pertinent by the fact that I am currently unable to dance because of some health problems. There is not much point in regretting all the times I let my self-consciousness and insecurities prevent me from getting up to dance, so I hold out hope I will be able to dance again one day. But my point in all of this is to encourage you that teaching others to dance is a valuable, worthwhile endeavour. Keep it up!
