I read too. I may not have a huge education beyond a few years of community college, but I read a whole big bunch on a wide variety of topics. When I am trying to get to sleep I always read to get drowsy. There have been times in the morning when I wake to find the light still on, the glasses still perched on my nose and my finger stuck in the page of the book holding my place for when I would wake.
Of course, an occasional glass of wine is nice too.
