Advice . Does this sound like the family ?.

Firstly hello. And thanks for reading this.

I'm not really sure where to start, this will probably sound trivial.

Some things have happened in my life recently and I feel it may be connected with The Family International and that I'm being duped . I'm looking for advice and opinion....

I met a woman at work not too long ago, initially I wasn't interested in her , but she persisted and we ended up becoming very close in a short time. I was suprised.

Eventually one night she told me that she thought I was an amazing guy, that she wanted to spend everyday with me and that I was 'definatly marrage potential' . The catch was that despite these strong feelings, she broke it off saying that she wanted to marry someone who would be able to pray with her. I.e. if I wanted to be with her I'd have to follow her to worship.

I'm not a Christian. I was bought up an Atheist, but I know people see me as a good man. I believe in alot of things that would probably be termed Christian beliefs, but I don't go to church. She told me she believed the Bible was the word of God.

On a few occasions she mentioned going to visit a "family" , a couple of times she mentioned the same location/town as somewhere she was going to prey. I assumed she knew a family near a church but I don't think this is the case. I think they are one and the same.

She invited me down one night to stay the night with this family in the New Forest England ( i thought it odd to invite me to stay with a family at 8pm on a work day without calling them ) I didn't go.

Her home struck me as odd. A shared flat / appartment with a suprising lack of furnature or pictures on the wall. It was spotless, to the extent it almost looked like no-one lived there. All her flat mates we're very religeous.

I'm really sorry if this is a waste of space my writting, but I'm having a hard time trying to understand what happened. Does any of this sound like The Family ?

thanks for your time
