I think you may have found the answer.
It does seem to fit in.
Though she did tell me at one point that she went to a school run by nuns, I've no idea how that fits in.
You know, as an aside, when I was a child I thought that there was only 'religeon' I just thought everyone who was religeous believed the same thing. How nieve was I !?! I remember being really suprised that Jews, Roman Catholics and Protistants all believed something different and in some cases really didn't like each other at all.
Indeed in Northern Ireland the Roman Catholics and Protistants were killing each other on a regular basis.
It's such a confused business ( but then I guess life is. ) . I think Jesus would be pretty upset to see it.
Back to the point. She hasn't talked about 'Jehovah God' on the occasional time she's mentioned God ( "She's with God now".... " God bless you" etc ) . But then again I don't think a Jehovah's Witness would advertise the fact here in the UK. Especially not at work.
You're right I should just ask her, and indeed I will, though gently which is I hope my nature.
There were a few other trivial things. I remember I went around one nigt to watch a Harry Potter DVD. A friend of hers was there too and obviously disaproved of the film choice, I remember she looked at the DVD and said to him..." ya I know what you think, I don't want to hear it."
I know that some Christians feel the Harry Potter stories are bad news.
There were a couple of occasions when she seemed to be self depreciating about her behaviour. At one point she told me about how she'd read a Bill Bryson book and inked out all the swear words, but she laughed at her self whilst telling me, likewise when she told me the only songs she knew ( I'd been playing guitar ) were about Jesus.
The pyramid thing was I'm sure, despite a fuzzy memory, connected with God, I asked her later about her views on Creationism, Darwinism and the age of the planet. And she eventually said that although evolution may well have happened in the world of plants and other animals, man was seperate and created as we are today by God.
Anyway it's late here I need to hit the hay.
Thanks for listning.
