I was reading awhile back about a woman missionary whose husband was murdered by some tribesmen. Later, the woman in obedience to the Lord went back and preached the gospel to them. Almost the whole tribe accepted Jesus as their Savior. In time a visitor to the village was listening to this account from the pastor at the new church. After the pastor finished speaking, and with tears streaming down his face, he looked out and said, "And I was the one who killed her husband." She had a choice like we all do, to forgive, or to let the Devil swallow her up in bitterness. Jesus said,"If ye love me, keep my commandments." It is not possible to walk with Jesus and live in hatred for any man. 'Even a crazy dirty old man like David Berg who started out with a little love in his heart for hippies but then got swallowed up by his pride, bitterness and lusts. I just don't think it is very smart to let Satan use bitter memories of a dead man to get between any of us and Jesus. I for one, don't want to spend eternity with David Berg. Any comments? Ps. Some day, maybe sooner than we think, we will all have to give account to the Lord for everything we say. Amen
