Yep, I know what you mean about Christians getting persecuted and the secrecy because of it. It sounds trivial but a young person admitting to being a Christian in the UK is pretty "un-cool". And obviously there are plenty of people who have pre-conceptions and predjudace (sp?) I can understand the secrecy.

The day of worship. Well we had arranged to meet tomorrow Sunday. I told her I'd like to meet out of work to ask her some questions about her thoughts, her faith and church. She said we could maybe meet on Sunday.

Though today she rang up to say she may have to work tomorrow.

Which could mean she worships on the Sabbath. Or maybe she not so strict as to always go to Church on Sundays. Maybe she's decided she doesn't really want to discuss her faith with me tomorrow. Who knows.

I've got to say I've done alot of soul searching in the last month. What am I ? What are my beliefs ? Am I a good man ? And I feel that although I'm by no means perfect , I don't think that if Jesus rang my doorbell tomorrow he'd be too disapointed with me.

And you're not kidding about the range of beliefs in Christianity ! As well as soul searching, I've done a fair bit of google searching and reading about different denominations. There is an ocean of opinion and difference. Where is the unity ?

This woman essentially said that despite having deep feelings for me and my 'definatly' being marrage potential to her, that it couldn't happen becasue she wanted a husband with whom she could prey.

But it's looks to me that it's not a simple matter of becoming a Christian, it seems more complicated than that.

Anyway. I know you all are as inquisitive to find out as I am now.
