Michael the Archangel is real but the Jesus The Family is talking about is not the real thing. The real Jesus already told them, "I know you not". This Jesus guy has no power or a way to tell Michael to do anything.
Maria and Peter have been sinning against the Holy Spirit for so long they don't know what they call light is really darkness. No wonder they want to have command over shadows... after all, they are children of the father of all lies.
