Recently I was blessed with a visit from my eldest son who remains loyally serving The Lord in The Family. I asked him if he knew of the music and works of Rich Mullins, thought by many to be the Father of Contemporary Christian Music. He had no time or interest for any artist who wasn't in The Family.
The music of Rich Mullins does take time to explore and learn to appreciate. I've been working on it over 5 years and it still blows my mind what is in there and how it feeds my soul. I think God took him home in that '97 car accident because there's so much to do in the Spirit also.
That my hard core Family son didn't even have the time to talk about one so loved of God and responsible for the regeneration of so many Christians is a very telling sign.
We are supporters of CBN-The 700 Club who have humbly been used of The Lord for tens of millions of souls for His kingdom; established hundreds of water wells in India; were the first on scene with help in Indonesia etc. etc......Again, no interest, no awareness of, no idea, no clue...not from The Family therefore can't be important!
Well...that's all just trivia to some and insignificant to many. Just One Thing must be taken into account:
When you use hard earned missionary tithes to publish books in the Name of God, you have just entered the realm of Spiritual accountability and must without question abide by its rules. Many flimsy attempts have been made by Family leadership to weasel out of this accountability when weird doctrines came up short or prophesies drifted to oblivion. This however has now been placed before us all as a test of our sincerity:
The Davidito Book...and accompanying Mo Letters declaring the Great Future and importance throughout the End-times of this Ricky are etched in print forever. Will Ricky return from the Dead to lead God's End-time Army and vindicate Mo, Maria & Peter?
What is a False Prophet? And what is their fate? Our responsibility is to determine the truth...confess our short-comings and forgive those who have trespassed against us. May God forgive and help us all...we are all accountable! That Really Matters.
