It seems that they really are talking about another spirit altogether. The Family Jesus has a foul mouth, is insecure, didn't think he could pull off his earthly ministry, was sexually starving for every person he can get his hands on, and died on the cross with VD from laying with prostitutes.
I know people can still have basic faith in the real Jesus but misappropriate all kinds of attributes to him, but holy smoke, at what point is the picture SO different that we really aren't even talking about the same Jesus any more? It's the old "bait and switch" where you think you're buying one car but end up with a junker. At what point have they switched the real Jesus for some other spirit? Or do you think Family disciples still have the real deal?
In the earliest days our witnessing was real but these days I don't even know that the Family is leading any people to faith in Christ any more. You know, years ago an ML came out where all they had to do was say, "Sprit of Light, come in my heart," and they were counted as saved.
I don't see how anyone can think that the Family has faith in the real Jesus.
