Those books sound interesting, I may look them up. We're in the midst of a move, so I'm not buying any books right now, but in the future I may look them up. The Celtic titles tug on my Irish blood as well.

I'm not so interested in improving me as a person, mostly just in survival and figuring out who I am. What I like about not having any religion to fall back on is that I know the morals I have are my own morals and not those dictated to me. I know what I believe in and where I stand, I'm comfortable with it. But I see little hope for improving myself, I am who I am. I do wish I were a better mother, only because my kids are affected by my short temper or grumpiness, but I refuse to push myself to change or condemn myself over it, I have enough of that stuff--not saying that you are--it's just how I view myself.
