fernando was a family catacomber in albuquerqe? my wife and i just love this guy. his arrangements transport you, and his mix of earthy human stories and classic hymns w/ his clean arrangements just move you.

we also love rich mullins. did you read his biography? "an arrow pointing to heaven"..it shows this guy was the real thing. a struggling, honest human being determined to follow his Friend to the end.

i'm not a huge fan of much conteporary christian music, but some of it is outstanding, both lyrically and musically. we love anything written by wayne kirkpatrick (does a lot of writing for susan ashton, and co wrote "if i could change the world" that clapton sang. ashley cleveland is great too. did you ever hear any mark heard? he was sort of blackballed by the ccm industry and died back in 1991, but if you can find his stuff, it is totally unique. very dylanesque. google him.

hope all is well w/ you. never got a reply to an email i sent you. be well.
