Yes, this is what Nietzsche was best at. Coming up with short aphorisms, great zingers, quotes for every ocasion. I still find that I can start any article or story or speech with an apropriate Nietszche quote.
But herin lies the danger. Just like with The Bible, one can find quotes to justify just about any position ot opinion.
He was a great writer, but not so great as a systematic thinker.
I have read pretty much all his writing's some many times. I loved him at first. I found his philosphy a good "middle ground" between fundamentalist Christianity and suicidal Nihilism.
But my reactions to subsequent readings have been more complex. For every quote (like the ones you cited) that make me think "right on!" there are others that I find ofensive and unaceptable.
So I think the only soulution, when reading Nietszche, The Bible, or anything else, is to "take what you liike and leave the rest."
Don't acept anybody as infalible Always balence another persons ideas with your own expereances and inteligence.
But then, I think that is what Nietzsche would have wanted you to do.
