The information presented that John L. Brandt was a Freemason is based on a previous listing on this page.(see Freemasonic Connection) It is a common thing for ministers to hide their affiliation to this secretive society because it serves as warning flag to discerning Christians and can hinder the spread of the Masonic false gospel of world peace through religious unity.
(ps Protestant Masons sometimes feign an abhorrence toward Romanism in order to be accepted among real Protestants.)(The Catholic Church in addition publically denounces Freemasonry so few will suspect that they {the Jesuits esp.}actually control it at the top.) A couple of US state legislative committees
after investigating the Freemasonic Order concluded that it was a criminal organization dedicated to the destuction of democracy in facor of a global government run by those considered, 'Enlightened Ones' (Illuminati)(Men endued with supernatural intelligence.)(Albert Pike(past)Sovereign Grand Master issued an internal memo reserved for 32 degree and above members (Naturally, disavowed as a hoax by Masons.) to the effect that they should maintain, the 'purity' (sic) of the Lucifern doctrine. My research to date indicates that Freemasonic membership was not uncommon in the denomination that John L. Brant served in. (He himself officiated as minister, at the funeral of a prominant Mason from his church.) Deborah mentioned that her grandmother Virginia suffered a suicidal depression (after the death of her mother) while attending a party at the home of General Winfield Scott and that this event led to her conversion. This general is possibly the same, listed as a famous Mason, on the bottom link.(ps. It appears there was more than one General Winfield Scott so the one mentioned above may have been a relative.)(son?) Pedophilia is rampant higher up in the Masonic Order {as in the Catholic Church) and is used ritually and systematically to create a mental disorder (MPD)(dissociative disorder) among children that allows them to be mentally controlled and used for various purposes later on.) (David Berg also claimed to have been molested by adults of both sexes while yet a young child, however that does not appear to be directly connected to any organized or covert program involving occultists.)
However, it is known that David Berg's early (7 years old) preoccupation with sex is very unusual and certainly contributed to his strange aberrations later in life.
