Dear Rocky, Greetings! Thank you for your rather insightful commentary. I admit that my views concerning the complex subject of evil in the world are somewhat less than perfect. However, I prayerfully appeal to the Lord to help me see through the smoke and mirrors that Satan is using to keep the world in darkness while preparing mankind to accept his endtime dictator, the, 'man of sin'. In the COG, various truths, and even the Holy Scriptures, were used to create a complex system of legalistist bondage to corruption, while at the same deceiving many into accepting an elitist pride trip thinking they were the only faithful Christians in the world.
While this sort of thing is nothing new, the fact remains that many are going to stand before the Lord and hear, "I do not know you, depart from me ye that work iniquity." after having expected to be received with open arms and a, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant" all because they followed after the doctrines of various anti-christs rather than abide in and obey the Words of Jesus Christ. While I cover, by necessity, some of the same information that is perverted for selfish motives by various groups, my intent is to open the eyes of blind, so that they realize that they need to turn to Jesus, before it is too late. In order to reach some people with the gospel that sets them free to serve God in spirit and in truth, it is often essential to first destroy the illusions of Satan, holding their minds in captivity. My approach is sometimes rather crude, as I prefer to step on the head of the snake, rather than on it's tail. My style can appear, 'preachy' at times and I admit that I need to rely more on the Holy Spirit to move in the hearts of those I am trying to reach. My motive according to the measure of faith and love that the Lord has put in me, is to see many of my brothers and sisters stand before the Lord; receive a full reward, hear a, 'Well done thou good and faithful servant', receive a crown from the hand of Jesus Christ, the Lord of lords and King of kings.
Your brother, Bryon.
(ps. It certainly wouldn't hurt to pray for me, that I stay focused on the gospel and not be diverted into, needlessly expounding upon mysteries that do not edify.)
I thank you for your honest opinion, your views have been helpful. The Lord bless you.
