Greetings! I have just read an interesting article where a couple of ex-COGs invaded a COG colony and temporarily broke them free from the religious bondage to the cult. While I do not approve of a number of the methods used by these brave brethren, I commend them in that they risked their lives to deliver a number of souls from Satan's power. This is a, 'must read' for every ex-COG.

The COG itself, is just a johnny come lately cult, and it's methods while effective, do not come close to those cults that have been around for hundreds of years. Nothing less than a miracle from God can break the insidious hold that they, (empowered of devils) seek to desperately maintain. The only lasting freedom from the profound schemes of Satan, consists of a whole hearted acceptance of what Jesus teaches in His Word. Those who do not believe the Lord's account given in scripture cannot possibly break free because they by default have chosen to believe something else. They chose to put their faith in men, rather than in the everlasting truth of the Holy Scriptures. Eve chose to believe, a very presentable and crafty snake, rather than the words of her Creator. Since then billions have died in their sins and are now awaiting the judgement of Almighty God, who will condemn them to spend eternity in the Lake of Fire, along with the Devil who deceived them. There is a curse in the Holy Scriptures concerning those who chose to believe men rather than the Lord. Jeremiah 17:5
"Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord."
We know what happens to those who put their trust in men (esp:David Berg and company) and accept the clever false images they present of themselves in order to appear great in the eyes of men.
