Was Berg's WWII draft status 4F?

Once when I went home to "spoil Egypt," my father got ahold of my MLs and read them. I can remember Dad pointing out Berg's racism to me. People who explain Berg's racist attitudes as typical of his generation forget a major historical event that shaped the grandfathers and radically changed their ideas about race: World War II. No one could ever convince me the holocaust didn't happen. My father was in the liberation army and saw the camps first hand, and his attitudes on racial hatred were deeply affected by what he witnessed.

Even though the military was segregated at the start of that WWII, those who served in the years immediately after the war during the desegration of units in the Korean theater experienced a sea change on racial issues. The military chain of command wouldn't tolerate bigotry and hate speech, primarily because the "colored" officers wouldn't stand for it.

I can't remember reading any ML where Berg talks about serving in the military during WWII. If Berg didn't serve, it would have been very unusual for a man of his time. Does anyone remember him talking about it? Given his pose as the spiritual leader of God's Endtime Army, Berg's apparent lack of service is telling.
