Thanks for the article on 1 Jn5:7. I still haven't researched Ray Smith (and probably won't), but Jack Chick's "gospel" is full of hatred of Catholics and superstitious fear of the devil. He's the one who first published John Todd's conspiracy theories in comic book and tract form, so I can see where you would accept him as an authority on important subjects. I don't. But don't worry, I'm not planning on subscribing to anything by Ray Smith, either.
