But aside that correction, the type of persecutions protestants dished out to catholics in this wonderful country of religious freedom (which is showing its ugly head once again, this time against muslim) has been fanned by the cloacked hatred of a few powermongers who fear loossing the control they enjoy. That silly notion about some future one-world government prevents otherwise intelligent people to critically see how the american society works as a society not much different than a monarchy where the real power never leaves the same elite.
It is the same mentality that places a lot of stock in the strength of the Pope as the antichrist and the evil forces forgetting to critically look at the deeds of their own countrymen around the world in the name of a religion of greed and power.
