As many know my journey now has taken me to Bible College, which is the first time I've been in school since graduating from High School on 1970. It's great. I had asked a professor of mine if he could write a letter of recomendation for me for a renewal of a scholarship I recieved last year. He wote it and I'm blushing. See the below, my journey continues.

To Whom It May Concern
I have been asked to write a letter of recommendation by Donald Voelz and consider it an honor to do so. I have had the privilege of having Don as one of my students here at Southeastern College.
Academically, Don was an excellent student and a great contributor to all discussions. His work was of the highest quality, scoring in the upper five percent. He was punctual and dependable. I have no doubt that Don will achieve whatever goals he sets for himself.
As a person, Don was a very likeable individual who got along well with everyone. His good nature and attitude made him a very pleasant person to talk to. He seemed to be well read and tolerant of others and their opinions. He was empathetic, warm, and genuinely loved people. I considered him to be an excellent student, friend, colleague, and a person of many talents. He earned the respect of his peers and the faculty here at Southeastern College.
I was also impressed by Don’s desire to be placed in an environment that challenged him to grow spiritually, academically, socially, and mentally. Indeed, a college degree-completion program will test all of those areas. I am pleased to report that I witnessed his growth. I am grateful to have played a part in this achievement.
Having written these things, it is without hesitation, that I highly recommend him to you for renewal of the Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarship.
Sincerely,
Larry E. Hazelbaker, PhD
