Go back and read the thread that began with Perry's post about a book that attacks all religions in general and Christianity in particular.
Throughout history, critics of Christianity have tried to call into question the validity of New Testament scripture. Since Paul was the author of so much of the NT, enemies of Christianity have decided that they get a bigger bang for the buck by attempting to discredit Paul.
Just go back into the exfamily Mo letter archive and read examples of where Berg did this. He knew he had to discredit Paul and his epistles, because they contained too many direct contradictions to his increasingly perverted doctrines.
