Although that is indeed a very worthy & good thought for the day to day life, just living by your personal faith & mainly giving your heart, time, resources for the improvement of lives & livingconditions as she did, which is very admirable...yet, as being pointed out, it is part of the Christian faith & IMO a big consolation...for if Jesus didn't rise from the dead, neither would come back, we'd believe in vain...
Therefore knowing the signs & discerning them is of interest to us...I think the reading of such
stats - whoever promoted, "established" them etc.- is to be taken with some grain of salt & wisdom...you read the the news probably as much as I or more, so taking the span of the last hundred years(there are people old enough, having heard about or experienced both world wars!!...also the sickening genocides in the last century!!!!), I don't think there have been as violent times as this in history..."you guys just got used by watching that nauseating violence"/plus, sorry to get that across, war has hardly been on US-American soil, so may be you got used to lots of peace & safety...pardon me, I disagree, times waxed worse, however peace & safety(the promise/perspect of it) is also part of the prophecy, please don't overlook that.
