since repenting means something like rethink/reconsider...directing the thoughts aright etc....I think you did well in repenting:

you cannot undo those sins personally (anybody liking the story of the pastors pillow here ; ) )...but Jesus can forgive us and the parties offended....I learn more & more, that we're allowed to make mistakes, actually they are very needed in making progress, like a child doesn't get it right either with everything it needs to learn...if you consider all the faults, mistakes, which have been on many a blackboard & then were wiped off...learning from mistakes
