You may be doing this already, but you might consider sitting on it for a while. Give it a few days or weeks, whatever it takes, to contemplate the consequences of giving it to her while you are still work mates. You don't want to be surprised by something that unintentionally interferes with your work.
On the other hand, I'm single too, so what do I know? :)
