I left the COG in the late fall of 72, and have been in contact with the COG/Family over the years. Actually they made many attempts to recruit me over the years, which was rather strange because I had no idea where they were getting my address. I had enough discernment however to realize that the spirits controling them were of Satan. I tried to hold a private talk with some of them whom I knew from my days in there, and was granted such, only to have the private conversation cut short. You see, I can discern spirits and have been able to do so even from the first day I came to the Lord. (IE. I can see the spirits pulling people's strings and not too much gets past me.)(Words are often used to cover up the true intentions and motivations of people's hearts, but when the true nature of the spirit behind the words is identified as being in rebellion against God, the true intentions are also made manifest.) You see the real rulers of of the darkness are spirits, men are only the conduits to carry out their schemes. My research doesn't depend on normal means of discovery and would not be understood by many in any case. To dig up the hard evidence that Satan is very busy trying to bury, can be a very daunting task seeing he has so many helpers.
