Dan Brown wrote some interesting stuff. But I'm all Dan-Browned-out now. I read Angels and Demons which was good, followed by Digital Fotress which was a total waste of time.

My curiosity was so aroused by the theories metnioned in the Da Vinci Code, that I bought "The Unauthorized Guide to the Mysteries Beyond the Da Vinc Code" by Dan Burstein. It is a collection of academic discussions over these theories, by experts who know about the subjects Dan Brown talked about. It covers everything from Mary Magdalene, the scared feminine, the scrolls and parchments, archaeology, architecture, the priory of Sion, to Leonardo's Da Vinci's paintings.

"Dan Burstein has distilled the views of the experts - archaeologists, theologians, art historians, philosophers, scientists - to sort out the fact, informed speculation and fiction behind the phenomena that is The Da Vinci Code"
