I mean the challenges to a Christian's usual accepted ideas. Like Mary Magdalebe not being a prostitute, about the possibility that Da Vinci's Last Supper depicted Mary and not John. Many Christians, especially Catholics were outraged by ideas put forth in that book, which Dan Brown himself rehashed from other sources like Holy Blood Holy Grail and made into an exciting novel.
