Many months ago there was a discussion on this board about groups in the U.S.A. that may have been off-shoots of the COG. I mentioned a group I encountered in Northern California, but no one seemed to know of them. Today I came across this article about two groups, the Lighthouse Ranch and The Family. The latter sure has a lot of similarities to Berg's cult. Anybody know if the group's leader, Lord Byron, was influenced by Berg's teachings or not?
The Lighthouse Ranch, located near Eureka, California was the group that I encountered before I met TF. They picked up my friend and I hitchhiking and invited us to their Ranch (at the time I misunderstood it to be an actual lighthouse).
