You are quite right, the real question in alot of cases concerning law is the proper application of those laws. In Soviet Russia for example their constitution guarantees freedom of religion and freedom of association for such purposes. The Communist party however interpretes such to the degree that many Christians there are being persecuted or languishing in prisons for preaching the gospel. Laws cannot provide any real security or personal freedom in situations where the people in power are evil and reserve the right to apply and use, misuse, or ignore such at their own discretion. The people busy building a centralised world government also plan to unite the world's religions into one. Those who do not embrace this babble of religious confusion, will be considered, 'antisocial',
'intolerant' and as such, 'not authetically human' and will be classified as, 'sub humans' no longer protected by law. These sentiments are being well received at the, 'World Parliament of Religions' In order to get there from here a process of indoctrination and new laws must be brought into effect to precondition the world's population. In the wake of a devastating World War, (That is being set up as we speak.) the people filled with the spirit of fear, (IE. Not the Spirit of God.) will accept the New World Order as the only solution to war and man's continued existance. But, I am also quite sure that many even then, will still not accept the Lord's account given in the book of Revelations as to how this all ends. Christians who are following Jesus have nothing to fear, those who do do not know Him, and are not following Him have everything to fear. That's reality.
