According to the Bible, wouldn't it have been the Devil who sent the hurricane since he controls the air and all that?
Or perhaps it's just nature doing her thing to remind us mere humans that we are at her mercy whenever she wants to vent?
Or perhaps it's something man-engineered, you know, conspiracy theory type of thing?
I prefer to just say it's nature having its way with us and we must learn to live with the elements and be prepared for nature's sudden movements. Here in Japan we have to always be prepared for the earthquake or typhoon. We're going into typhoon season now, fortunately our house stands on top of a hill, so flooding isn't a problem, but the area is notorious for thunderstorms, and so we unplug our main appliances when one hits, several people have had their houses hit by lightning and lost all their appliances.
