Visitor, don't mean to interrupt but may I take this?
(1) Your post was a lot more than an answer. Read it for yourself. Was it not an opportunity for you to do do some more lengthy preaching about the New World Order? At least 95% of your post of several thousand words did not have anything to do with a response to the question about Chrsitian websites.
(2) Again, your post had little to do with spiritual abuse, but more about your New World Order and the "end is nigh" message.
Attempting to silence people was not the only kind of spiritual abuse. There was much more, such as manipulation through fear, rhetoric, subservience, the leader follower class division, the "listen to me because I've heard from God", "I'll tell you what to believe", "I'll tell you where youare at spiritually", "the world is coming to an end so do as I say, I'll lead the way" abuse, the domination of one opinion so that people don't have time or opportunity to discuss or get information from alternative sources, the "I know I am right, anything else you think is wrong", "I have the truth, if you don't believe as I do you follow a lie", and so on. Are you not dishing out the same spiritual abuse we are so hurt from?
Are the coordinators of this board or anyone here is trying to silence you? All they asked was for you to observe the guidelines.
(3) I will try my best to explain, and hopefully you will do your best to listen and understand, because you don't seem to have grasped what already has been pointed out to you by other annoyed readers.
A breakdown of your topics in that post:
*A half-hearted "apology" that justifies the continued "washing of your hands" on this board
*China bans access to Christian sites
*Hate crime laws
*God talking to you and telling you HOW "they" will attack Christians
*Spouting off bible verses
*What King Jesus told you
*The "Truth" to get people converted and righteous
*Educating us on hate crime legislation while mixing it into your theory that tension is necessary
*More theory that you can get in trouble with the law for witnessing
*Excerpts from ADL manifesto against hate crimes somehow making it so that hate crime laws will be used against us
*Conclusion that you are all for hellivision and being in people's face to cause tension
*Scriptures to back up the above
*Advertising 2 websites
*Scripture against the stiff-hearted
I would say 95% of your post is grievous because
(a) we didn't ask to be preached at once again
(b) we had enough of Berg using rhetoric to tell us what to believe
(c) we had enough of "a cow is an animal therefore an animal is a cow" type logic
(d) you assume there is an us (like-minded Christians who believe in witnessing getting in people's faces) and therefore
(e) you assume "we" identify with your calls to action and your concerns about hate crime
(f) you assume we need to hear more about the New World Order whether or not we want to hear it
(g) you assume we buy into your hellivision and draw us into it when actually probably many of us are really repulsed by it in the first place
(h) we had enough verses thrown at us about being wicked or stiff hearted and all matter of evil.
Would you like to exorcise us next?
(4) Many people post here, Christians, Catholics, psychics, believers of Rampa, and they don't nullify all others with what they say. I'm sure they don't believe all spirituality is equal, but they don't have the arrogance you exhibit. Most importantly, nobody seems to want to use the opportunity to convert anyone else, which I read is the according to the guidelines. The keywords for you are "fellow journeymen". If you think you don't fit that category, I suggest you post less, and simply tell people about your own website.
(5) You were not discussing your faith, just giving a message assuming we all identified with it or needed to hear it regardless.
(6) You assume we buy it that you have the truth just because you spout bible verses. To me you may despise Berg, but you are guilty of taking on much of his methodology, and the methodology of many other abusive denominations and preachers.
Great you have a good state of mind. I don't. Mine is troubled by my COG experiences. Many of us don't know what the truth is. Great that you are sure, but you aren't helping me and maybe many others with your self-assured style. What helps me is discussion, not preaching. Maybe I speak for many others too. I am full up with the things you throw out, what is more important is that I find a way to sort through the rubble, not have more rocks thrown at me.
The Lord bless you too.
