This message says it was in reply to CB at the heading but I wonder if it was meant for me since I said my family was the most mellow at Christmas when everyone in the family DRANK.
They wondered what kind of alcohol made them mellow, or US mellow really. I described many of the kinds of alcohol. But more than alcohol made it more "mellow". What I don't understand is the necessity to attack, in a way, a comment made that is based in personal experience as if it was directed at anyone personally. It gets old. What's the point? My family of origin was extremely abusive in many ways and I got the brunt of the abuse. The youngest usually doesn't but I did. I am sure that the season itself with the music and the movies playing on TV made it a bit more peaceful than the normal alcoholic chaos. That was my personal experience.
