Glad you made it to the boards again. Knowing what I do about how you live and your immense difficulties, I agree that you really don't like talking too much about yourself or dwelling on your problems. I know that you feel isolated in your situation, but are afraid to be a burden, even just to try to talk with anyone on a regular basis. But I do think you should come by as much as you can, to this board, and share a bit about your life and what you've been going through. I'm taking the liberty of reposting some information about you here, mostly taken from your article page:

"For the last fifteen years Billie Chainey has been bedridden from an accident, Fibromyalgia, and Parkinson's disease. Despite these obstacles she has persevered to survive and help other people.

"Having lost all hope Ms. Chainey left America in 2002 to see her favorite island (Antigua) once more before she died. Surprisingly she met a doctor who helped improve the quality of her life. Antigua was far too expensive to live on a fixed income. Ms. Chainey tried to get friends to help her relocate back to America. When no help was offered she moved to the Dominican Republic, where she's still resides.

"For fifteen years she has not been able to: take her own shower, wash her hair, cook, clean, do the laundry, sit, transport except in an ambulance, walk to the bathroom and back. With no muscle strength, even using the computer gets very tiring. Still, she wrote an entire book from bed using voice software, remote keyboard and mouse, the computer monitor hanging over her head.

"Billie is on her own without family or children, and few friends. If you would like to write to her, her email is: billiechainey@hotmail.com"
