There is a significant difference between the passage I quoted and the passage you quoted. The author of this Guardian newspaper article was reporting on some new research published in the Journal of Religion and Society. The passage I quoted from the newspaper article was a direct quotation from the research article. The passage you quoted was not from the research article but was the news reporter setting up or providing balance to the research article he was reporting on. However, the observations made by the reporter, which you quoted, do not in anyway change the results of the research.
Another difference is that I enclosed the passage I cited with quotation marks, making it very clear that I was not the author of the passage. You, oh nameless one, did not enclose the paragraphs you quoted in quotation marks, and it appears that OT2 may have mistakenly thought that you were the author of those paragraphs. At least that's what his invitation to you to debate creationism implies.
