Yeah, birds are really something. Real free spirits, so to speak. It's kind of sad now with the Avian Flu in the news & so many birds getting killed -- tho those are mostly the domestic kind. But they include lots of exotic birds. I wonder how the ostrich & emu farmers are doing these days?
I often think about species going extinct,& the fact that we can (maybe) bring them back with DNA engineering is not so encouraging. We'd just kill them off again. Berg used to rail against people who were concerned about endangered species, but his opinion isn't worth beans about now.
