I've long been fascinated by the science of human longevity. There are some startling research efforts around the world looking to extend the human life span. There has already been some success with lower life forms. Some of you who know me through this site might attribute this interest of mine to the fact I no longer have religious faith. Perhaps there's some truth to that. When I was a believer, expecting Jesus' return anytime, I never gave much thought to growing older.
