Lydia, James reminds me very much of the young woman, a Family member named C., who wrote a letter to Maria & Peter. (Her letter was eventually posted on MovingOn.) C. wrote saying that she, C., believed that the Family was now a safe and good place to raise her children, BUT that she had some questions she wanted to ask. There were issues about the Family's history & abuse that troubled her & she didn't feel right about the way Family leadership was handling (or not handling) those important issues. C then proceeded to candidly ask her questions, meanwhile affirming that she was a loyal Family member.
Of course, Maria & Peter refused to answer the questions & said they'd need a lawyer to go over their answers with a fine-tooth comb (!) & eventually, C. & many of her friends were forced to leave the Family. Does anyone know the link to that post?
