Hi Carissa - I was a member until 1991. Well, I continued to tithe until then. We actually left a F. home in 1989 but still had some people living with us and then I finally quit the whole thing in 1991. I do remember having some sort of fellowship and a single mom with a bunch of kids came from Mexico. Her daughter was a young teen maybe 13 and was heavily acting out, trying to get my sons into bed with her. We heard that her step dad had abused her sexually. All TF members seemed oblivious to it. It was weird. The thing is, there were so many members who had committed such acts, but TF had no leadership or rules properly in place to deal with it. Whatever they did was so much in name only because they really didn't want to deal with it if they didn't have to. So, consequently, so many of those people were and are still floating around TF. Many were allowed to return after their "3 months excommunication" also. I don't know if t hat helps you any at all. I hope so.
