Rethinking the big stuff like knowing FFing is wrong is easy, but I've been surprised how many other smaller misunderstandings linger in people's minds.
For e.g. to prove that God was unconventional and we could expect Him to want us to do the most absurd things you can imagine, remember Berg in "Did God Make A Mistake?" and the art of Ezekiel spreading out cow dung on a piece of bread? Ezekiel 4:12 says, "And thou shalt eat is as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of a man." When Ezekiel complained he couldn't hack that, God let him use cow dung instead (vs.15).
Hence Berg told us that God made eat Ezekiel eat barley bread mixed with dung. He was setting us up for eating the dung of his words.
But Ezekiel didn't eat the cow patties, contrary to what Berg thought. All God was asking him to do, which was gross enough, was to cook his food WITH cattle's dung, meaning use dried cattle poop as fuel, burn the stuff, cook the food. This is still done in 3rd world countries all around the world.
