I don't pretend to understand the bible or the future, heaven forbid! I think the bibie is highly misunderstood and missquoted and missused - just look how Berg used it.
I try not to dwell on it too much but go by my gut feelings and what makes sense. I agree with you, the Ron L. Hubbard mentality is stupid. I think God gave us common sense for a reason.
There are a lot of things in the world that do not make sense or are a mystery that even science can't figure out. I used to think I had to understand everything. I think that's a trap a lot of Christians get into and think they have to give an answer to make themselves look like they know what is going on. That's when they say things that make them look arrogant and better than everyone else.
