If you simply follow the real Jesus and the simplicity of what Scripture actually says for itself, God won't have to go to the extreme of making a jackass talk to you; that seesm to be the real contextual message in that story.
It took me the time of my TF membership to learn that; sadly. I was the jackass; then.
