I do believe in outright spiritual miracles, what you would call answers to prayers that make events/circumstances come together when the odds of them falling apart are very high. I'm not thinking here of healing miracles, but like when you desperately need some job but it just doesn't look like it'll happen, but you pray and it does. Sometimes it's just God manipulating natual circumstances and conditions, things happen in good timing and work out, but it's still a miracle. I know a couple stories like that in my life from just this past year.
But the practical side of me also knows hard work is required and that opportunities happen to those who are prepared. I mean, opportunities happen to everyone, but unless you're looking for it, wanting it and know what to do with it, it's just one more unintellibible random event passing you by.
