Ok, there is another movie with Mickey Rourkey, which is less romantic about the subject.I read a biography about St. Francis longer ago & can't really say, that the picture Zefferelli is painting is so way off the beam.Care to tell us what you exactly mean?What rubs me a bit wrong is the notion in some of your posts, that all what is taught in College etc. is supreme knowledge.It depends on the correctness of the sources etc. & that can be in history quite a subject in itself, & even the specialist sometimes could argue until they're blue in the faces (but hardly do or do they?) In my opinion it's enough to know, that TF is not my place to serve the Lord, but to repeat for the nth time on rather "remote" subjects", how stupid TF supposedly was & also really was, is IMO off in itself, kind of repeating it for selfhealing purposes.Just say what you learned & bingo...sorry for rattling, but I mean it.Thanks
