What is the point of having a set of beliefs if you don't believe in it at least 100 percent if not more. There is a difference between loyal dedication and irrational fanatacism, a la TF cult (among others) belief system. By alluding to someone's irrationality and therefore, unbelievability, because of a dedication to that belief, you effectively take away any possible rightness in their cause. I find that diabolically clever.
