How much daily reading of the Bible do you do?
May I suggest that if you are going to read the Bible at all you read it with an open heart, not a sceptical or analyzing one?
God, who wrote it by the Holy Spirit through man intended it to be a communication to man of His mind and heart and will.
If you look at it as that you will get alot more out of it, and it will feed your soul and spirit instead of picking it apart.
It is a beautiful thing when someone can get in communication with God through His word, and be the receptor of Gods revelations to us, instead of
apporaching it in familiarity and doubt. If you are not going to receive and beleive the answwers and explanations people spend their time trying to give you, perhaps you would be happier reading other books or materials as it seems reading the Bible doesnt make you happy.Forget the Bible if it doesnt make you happy reading it.You are an intellegent person so you should be able to understand the Bible like others understand it without too much difficulty. Just beleive what it says, or dont bother with it. Why would you want to read something you dont even beleive in anyway?
Or if you are truly seeking to find sincere answers to your questions in the Bible may I suggest doing some research on some of the sited and publications others have suggested ?
Thanks for your time. Peace ,brother
