I've read parts of the Jewish New Testament years ago and have wanted to own it ever since, and then a couple years ago I heard that the Old Testament had been freshly translated from Hebrew too, based upon a thoroughly Jewish Christian understanding of the scriptures. And since it is highly annotated (lots and lots of notes and commentaries on the bottom of the pages) I figured it would be very educational. So today I ordered it. I hope to have it in a few weeks.
